THOUGHT:
God has one basic commandment: walk with Christ. That means that your life is to become an image, a reflection of Christ’s life. A walk in Christ shows that you are established in the faith and gives you reason to live each day giving thanks for what Christ is doing. Has God freed you to be like Christ, or are you still imprisoned by the world’s ways?
PRAYER:
You who make us free, we no longer find sin ruling and dominating our life. Now we can love You and serve You which is what we are created to do. Control each step I take, each word I speak, each relationship I form so that Christ shines in all. Amen.

God established each church as a body of Christ, so that He could continue His redemptive work in the world. When Christ is allowed to function as Head of His church, God can use the body to carry out His will. Is your church working to show the entire earth that Christ is the Head of all things?
PRAYER:
Preeminent Lord of the earth, mold Your church, to reflect You so that Your will may be carried out throughout the world. Oh, Image of the invisible God start the work of molding with me. Amen.

Because of His obedience, Paul suffered much for the cause of Christ. Paul saw such suffering as sharing in Christ’s sufferings and dying to self and sin as Christ had. Are you willing to share His sufferings and to die to self and sin so you may experience the resurrection?

Suffering Servant, give me the faith and courage to persevere in suffering so I may win the victory in resurrection. Amen.
